STEM Fairs and Camps:
STEM Fairs and Camps are organized by TechWomen with different themes in STEM.
Most of our STEM fairs take place at schools and American spaces in Rwanda. Camps can be organized anywhere especially in High schools in Rwanda during holidays.
We use STEM based curriculum to conduct different hands on activities using simple kits available locally or overseas.
STEM Fairs and Camps include but not limited to:
- Organizing training on various activities based in girls’ most significant abilities.
- Working on small projects combining technology and girls field of study addressing a particular issue in their community
- Encouraging and awarding innovative ideasFollow-up of national or international STEM events and initiatives such as Technovation challenge, Gcode and other training encouraging girls to achieve their dreams.
